I am Calgarian, I love (live for) food among many other things…  I have recently relocated to Dublin and am experiencing a whole new side of life!  I will continue to share about our food and photo adventures.

love ARTS

Other than things you put in your mouth (or “pie-hole” as a coworker refers to it), I enjoy art; mainly photography and music. I have played violin and piano for most my life and I love to go to the symphony.

Wellness is my conviction.  Healthful eating and active living are a choice and a lifestyle, not an accident.  In school, I studied Nutrition and Food; which means I understand food but that doesn’t translate to talent in cooking.  A healthy lifestyle not only feels good, but hopefully allows you to enjoy the life you love for longer.

love LOVE

Passion, having a passion, living with passion…. is like using the word “love”.  I love this, I love that.  Love is so overused. It has lost its bite.  It has lost impact.  Nonetheless, I believe everyone should fill their lives with things that excite them; Explore things to live for.

In other words, “live to Love

Love to Eat, but I also Love:

  • coffee & wine
  • nutrition and working out, as a result of eating
  • photography
  • running
  • people, sharing life with the people around me
  • snowboarding
  • golfing
  • the outdoors
  • baking

Hey, welcome to Dublin – I was referred to your food blog by the team at Feeding the 5000. I spent the afternoon handing out potatoes… was a great event. Love your blog, for coffee recommendations – have you tried Wall and Keogh organic teas? (45 Richmond Street South, Portobello Dublin). If not, try it – its wonderful. Pop up cook demo’s are also popular in Dublin. Enjoy!

Thanks for the note! I appreciate the recommendations, I have been looking for new ideas to try out – and have been working up quite the list. Wall & Keogh is definitely next on the list 🙂
      Keep me posted on ideas!
